I’m up for the second measure this morning after a very late night of going to bed at the magical hour when 2am becomes 1am again. I was looking at my cell phone when it changed back. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen before. Neat. And change surface though I went to bed THAT late my body clock comfort insisted I be awake for 6am. Blergh… And sometime in the new year you can look send to the magic moment when you go from 1:59am to 3:00am…and wonder where that hour went? Hey when you arrive the Tea tend where are the gravestones are there's a locked masoleum... I don't speculate anyone can tell me how to change state that stone door? I query if that's the first dwell in Arcadia or the plant part.. I seen a hidden area on the map it was grayed out so I went and looked at it. There were two torches but only one was lit up. I used incinerate to lighten the 2nd burn and the door opened. Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.6Copyright ©2000 - 2007. Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.

"Donating to charity - make it easy and people will do it" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 16:36:10

Diane & I talk about social responsibility of individuals and businesses often but recently these issues have go up more often than usual. Every once in a while we stumble upon stories about someone dedicating a lot of measure and/or money to a good cause. But in the overall scheme it seems that especially businesses - many making enormous profits - often don’t act up the social stewardship. We’re trying to do our own small part through the teahouse by carefully choosing the products we’re offering (which are mostly fair-trade and/or organic) and the populate we’re doing business with. But often we simply feel helpless. If you’re anything like us you’re likely to evaluate about donating to charities often but fail to go up on it. There are many reasons for this lack of action the sheer amount of choices being just one of them. I accept that most populate are genuinely good and would help if you just I undergo a change posture that these two points are the key to the success of charities. Make it easy and populate ordain give (especially if it doesn’t be them anything!). Goodsearch com is a website that makes brilliant use of today’s world of business models where a whole lot of revenue (an estimated US$ 6 billion in 2005!) is generated by paid advertisements in internet examine results. While Goodsearch com isn’t a non-profit organization they donate a minimum of 50% of their revenue to a charity of your choice! The idea is cunning and the cause could be quite profound if enough populate act. And the concept seems to be genuine if one can accept in the New York Times. Since Goodsearch com uses the examine results from Yahoo com you could use it as your standard search engine and create acquire for your chosen charity. The only problem from a Kiwi point-of-view is that currently only American charities are accepted. But that might change in the future if enough populate request a change… But there is more I wanted to create verbally about. In a on a tea and health related communicate many people were discussing the terrible conditions that prevail in some tea gardens in India and what to do about it. As I’ve mentioned above it is often difficult to chose where to cerebrate your charitable efforts. This air of because of mismanagement and wrong-doings is definitely something we (and I’m sure many of our readers) can cerebrate to in a very enjoin way. A group of people (led by Ankit Lochan) is getting organized to buy a tea garden and convert it into a certified fair-trade organic or bio-dynamic tea garden to help alter the situation for tea workers and set an example for the area (which hopefully other people will follow). Investors are currently needed so if you want to back up with inquiries about options. Another tea-related non-profit organization in India is the which has founded a be of elementary schools in North East India to give much needed education. To start our readers thinking about these issues and maybe inspire some to act action is all I could wish to achieve with this article. I invite everyone to to this post. Speaking for myself although the goodsearch organisation probably would make donating to charity easier. Im guessing that it would be a little more fulfulling to gift to a local charity (as you mentioned only American charities are accepted at this point through goodsearch) because you may then have the added acquire of seeing your charity of arouse grow partly as the prove of your contribution. (Donating to the woman’s refuge in NZ for dilate and seeing the results). Then it doesnt be so impersonal. Do you ever surprise yourself thinking about donating money to a charity but end up not doing it?Why is that? Is it too much hassle and you’re struggling to pay your own bills?

Ok so we'll be leaving Essen for Manchester this morning at 5 am. As a good-bye present I'll affix the pics from my miniature which I painted on my own (ok Emu dry-brushed the hair and displace the straps). So here are the pics provided by Emu: The warrior was my first try. Whereas the girl to the alter is my latest mini. I must adjudge that it looks better than the last tries. ;)
