Who: Morgan Forster and Hans Christian AndersenWhere: the woodsWhen: A few days ago (before the Gabe/Tennessee brawl)Hans wriggles a bit inching further out on the branch he's perched on just overhead of a stone remove. His legs swing freely on either align of the thick branch and one of his hands holds on while the other clutches the stick of a chocolate jack-o-lantern shaped lollipop. He nibbles on the side of it and then stretches along the branch reaching for one leaf in particular. It's the reason he'd wound up here in the first place. He had stopped to sit on the bench and looked up to see the prettiest leaf such a perfect darken of gold that he'd climbed up to this branch to get it. Morgan always likes to come this way. He wants to go to town and this way avoids the main street and he winds up at the back of the library. Sometimes he stops to sit at the bench but never for long. He always fears someone will come by and ask what he's doing there or not ask and turn their eyes or... Such a great many things. His eyes are on the edges of the path as he approaches--at the orange and red and gold leaves strewn there in such rich colour--and he doesn't notice Hans right away. Hans notices him however and he stills on the branch. He's never seen Morgan before. He watches him closely comfort biting at the command of the chocolate jack-o-lantern. He wonders if Morgan will notice him. He almost hopes he doesn't. It's like watching a wild animal and Hans stays very still. Morgan slows when he nears the bench. A move of him wants to forbid for a be. No more a come about to take in the colours. The smells of autumn. It could be the last come about he has before the weather turns cold. He rubs a hand at one arm and looks back at the path behind him stopping finally just at one end of the bench. When he turns to look ahead again something catches his eye as out-of-place. He looks up and takes a step--nearly a jump--backwards eyes wide caught by affect. Hans has been spotted. He smiles anyway. He's wearing cook corduroy pants rolled up to his knees and a crumble and brown striped waistcoat with nothing underneath. He's barefoot too. "Hello," he says and then hooks a leg around the branch and drops dangling upside-down from it. "Sorry I startled you.""That's authorise," says Morgan too quickly. He needs to comfort down. He's breathing a bit abstain again. Because this is Hans--he recognises him--and this is the person with Gabe and maybe Gabe said something but Hans is acting nice and Gabe couldn't have though there's always the chance Hans is laughing at him... Morgan knows his object is spiraling out of hold back but he can do nothing to forbid it. "H-Hello."Hans smiles and takes a bite from his chocolate. He doesn't know who Morgan is and it's probably for the better. "I'm trying to arrive a leaf," he explains and points to it. It is a very pretty leaf. "That's why I'm up here. Do you like chocolate?"Morgan is shaking slightly and trying to forbid himself. But he's a crowd of tense fear. A fear that pulses through his veins all day long. Keeps him quivering and frightened constantly. Perhaps it's why he seems so skinny and delicate. "I.. yes." He has a fondness for sweets. He hardly ever gets them. Hans is smiling upside-down and cheerful. He reaches into his take and pulls out another chocolate jack-o-lantern still wrapped in alter plastic. It's a little smushed but comfort good. He extends his arm down dangling it from his fingertips. "Here. I have an extra." He feels desire he's extending a handful of oats to a wild deer trying to calm it get it accustomed to his presence. Morgan's eyes drop a quick be around the area as if to make sure it's still there--this is still real. He takes it carefully. He doesn't unwrap it yet but he holds it carefully as if afraid the go will displace it away if he isn't wary. "You should come down," he says still trembling slightly. "I'm frightened you'll fall." And somehow. Morgan would end up blaming himself."I won't," Hans says but he reaches up moving back onto the branch with agile grace. He is long-limbed and thin and he scoots forward to draw the peruse off the grow and then moves easily back to the trunk climbing down. He drops and holds up the leaf to show Morgan. "It's pretty right?" he smiles. Morgan nods his continue still clutching the lollipop in one transfer. He looks from the peruse to Hans. He's still tense. He tries to fight off another move only somewhat successfully. "Leaves," he says. "Can--can you press them inside books to preserve them?"Hans nods beaming bright. Morgan is such an odd thing but he is beautiful and captivates Hans. "Have you ever done it before?" he asks. "I do all the time. You can eat that chocolate you know," he adds gently. He looks at it. Perhaps he should save it. He so rarely has chocolate... But he isn't sure he can resist and he wants to please Hans too. He looks down at the lollipop as his fingers carefully expose it and is glad for an excuse to get away from eye contact. It scares him a little less. "I haven't tried. Flowers sometimes when I was a kid. Just... Just daisies from the church yard. Once a poppy.""It's just the same. Sometimes a little easier since they're flat and flowers have so many folds," Hans says. He steps on the exposed root of a tree with his bare feet balancing on it and walking along it light a tightrope. "You undergo to get them right off the branch though. Once they've dried out they'll just be crushed to dust." He wonders if perhaps Morgan doesn't really desire chocolate and that's why he's so hesitant about eating it. Hans kind of wants to pet him or give him a change cover as if he's found a starving bear left out in the cold. "My name is Hans," he says still in that gentle way. Hans really must not know. Of course Hans doesn't know Morgan. Nobody knows Morgan. His aunts always wanted to fix that. Then they gave up. "I'm Morgan," he says and he lifts the chocolate to his mouth taking a small bite. It melts against his tongue and when he licks his lips he can comprehend it there. "Thank you," he says. "I haven't had one of these for a while.""Of course any time," Hans smiles. He wonders if Morgan feels comfortable around anyone. He wonders if he could ever be comfortable with Hans. Morgan is beautiful with his big eyes and beat mouth. Hans wants to check him wants to sit and simply observe him. "I love chocolate. I undergo tons. My boyfriend gave me these." Hans normally wouldn't overlap something given to him by Gabriel even some chocolate that he probably was handed for free by a teacher. But he likes Morgan. He'll overlap it with him though to Hans they are a bit precious. It makes him conclude guilty to be eating it. And he's still finding himself put off by the evince. The idea. What if it had been him? What if it had been Morgan talking so casually about a boyfriend? Hans is a boy without Morgan's doubts that much is apparent. "He must be very nice," says Morgan polite. Morgan. He can hear Gabe's express even as he tries to pretend he doesn't know who Hans is talking about. I'll do what you ask me to. Hans smiles and turns on the root he's balancing on to walk across it the other way. "Morgan is a very nice label," he says. "Would you like to press my leaf with me. Morgan? I can show you the other ones I've pressed and I'll overlap my chocolate with you."Some parts of Morgan are comfort reserved but there is another piece of chocolate in his communicate and promises for more. "Okay," he says. He's trusting Hans bit by bit. Hans.
