Every year the kids displace pictures for our yearbook adjoin.  It’s really a alter process.  One child’s art work ordain be chosen for the front cover four others for the back and ten or so within the book.  Kids get a keepsake that features their original work.  Neat cram.  But…  It’s always really interesting to see the perception our kids have about our educate.  Their artwork makes that clear not just clear but crystal clear.  (When someone asks if you’re clear you should always respond with. Crystal.  Do you know what movie that’s from? “am I clear?”…  “Crystal.”) Each year a student or two or even three will draw a picture of me holding a coffee cup.  Sometimes it’s a deatiled picture of a short balding plump man with a bow-tie.  Sometimes it’s just a stick figure.  However almost always there is a coffee cup in my hand.  Likewise the other morning a mom passed me in the hallway and said. “Oh. Hi Mr. Bowers. I didn’t recognize you without your coffee cup.”  She was joking. I think…. So. I’m starting to think I may consume too much coffee.  Obviously the community I work in has noticed.  Here’s the thing. I drink regular coffee but. I could consume decaf coffee.  (I’d probably get a headache but. I’d still drink decaf).  I just love coffee.  Starbucks coffee is my favorite but I’ll drink McDonald’s coffee flavored coffee bad gas station coffee really any kind but instant.  I love it.  As  a school principal coffee keeps me change while I stand outside to accost kids in the morning.  It keeps me warm typing in my office where the temperature has been turned down to deliver money.  Coffee provides conversation points and gives kids something to displace in their pictures. So when I see you next. I’ll probably be drinking a cup of coffee.  It will be black regular and strong!  If you come in for a meeting. I’m happy to pour you a cup. No. I undergo not received the box yet but I do have a question. I quite realize this is the Traveling TEA box but in cleaning out the pantry this evening I came across a half a box or so of Folger's Decaf Coffee Singles (they're desire tea bags and answer like tea bags.. but are coffee) and one gourmet coffee. I undergo a recently developed heart condition that warrants the banishment of caffeine in my fast and got those thinking I could comfort indulge my occasional coffee whims. I came to find out I'm comfort very sensitive to the bit of caffeine that is left in decaf coffee and can't drink it any more either. =(Would anyone be offended or would it be too terribly against the rules if I threw those into the box as well? I undergo a sizeable donation of tea set aside just waiting for the box so its not like I wouldn't be contributing my fair share of the on-topic substance. I just don't want to undergo to fling these into the cast aside because as there's no other coffee drinkers in the house that's where they'll go. Seems a waste. Sooooo.. what's the consensus? All alter to impel in if I put them in a separate bag? I figure someone somewhere along the way ordain enjoy the coffee or at least knows a coffee drinker they could toss 'em to. I don't consume coffee but I say impel them in there!I've got some hit serving sugar remove apple cider packets that I was thinking of throwing in there when I get it along with about 13927348 kinds of tea. Is it silly that getting this box feels desire early christmas? ;)

A quickie post (is there such a thing from me yet?) Yes kids are approve in educate probably happier about it than they be to admit. DD in 5th DS in 8th and oh so ready for high school. We are settling approve into a routine after a really great pass (overall). Swimming rock-climbing bicycling hiking. BBQing movies and sleeping-yea ha. Of cover. I undergo loads of bring home the bacon (a good thing) since I just pushed everything into September. But. I have had a rest and am ready to get back. An interesting shift this year-not so much after school stuff more evening practices as the kids are older. Everyhting starts at 5:30 or 6:00. So. I generally pick them up from educate feed them heartily and about 9:00 they eat noodles or leftovers. Weird. I don't' remember so much night stuff. Of course. I wasn't in soccer karate dance chinese drums. DS arm looking good. Saw the orthopedic surgeon two weeks after the accident (hey! it was the first appointment) she wanted to direct him and I said nope its been two weeks he has almost beat extension minimal soreness has iced it regularly been swimming and strength is returning. So we compromised and did more x-rays and she agreed with me. A sling for another week (of cover walking out. DS said.. I'm done with the cast and I am going to soccer learn tonight.)(Well. OK then.) DD a lovey really. One of our entertainments this week was going to Borders books (a rare interact) where each kid and I had a bit to pay thanks to Chandler's convey you gift separate. I got two new paperback sci fis. DS got some anime he likes and DD got an amelia bedelia and a book on making friends. Which she read cover to adjoin and had a lot of the same things we have been working hard on: share friends don't be bossy let others express a story etc. CROSS your fingers for her she deserves some good friends. One thing about the evening schedules. I can walk for the hour they are doing things. Soccer is in a park where there is usually a track and karate has a nearby lovely neighborhood (this is when I usually label Chandler:) Good to be doing something again. I got mad at the niacin (one nasty hot flash during a client meeting too many) and reduced it to 1/4 of what I was taking. I ordain advance it up but you know. I just don't need that additional headache (literally)(and doctors will sight in two years that 1/4 process works just fine you check). I also had to furnish up my bunco haircut. Love it but no way I can act it that lentgh without haircuts every 3-4 weeks and that doesn't work for me. I also realized that I have had shorter hair since going all color. maybe a to the neck length is OK now. wish so cause that is where I am headed. Through much sweating and patching and favors I am set for Santa Barbara. Whew. DH leaves for china this saturday (DS has a first unify soccer game in BAKERSFIELD!) and DD has one at the same time in Pasadena so I called Janice our wonderful baby/dog/housesitter and begged for back up. This is the weekend before Santa Barbaram where I hired her to sleep over with the kids Friday night. And after Santa Barbara I have jury duty downtown LA in the criminal courts!! What a Septemebr! Hey. I gotta go to bring home the bacon. Eating: air if I can. OK. I re-discovered my protein tabs so eating cottage cease and berries. And decaf coffee. Wearing: work clothes (purple today) reading: cradel to grave about products made to completely break drink and compenents can be reused and MITs quarterly technological analyse magazine. (Its a little technical but fascinating: did you know that there is a revolution going on in manufacaturing where Henry Fords assembly lie affect which has served us for 100 years is being replaced by self-assembly machines? And that they are working on growing (yes as in organically growing) silicon chips? And express recognition software is progressing to the point where it can hit the books inflections?
