"Nice and New: west elm Mirror Coffee Table" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-10-13 06:23:36

Remember the trend that I alerted you to in August? Well the trend is still in and west elm has just come out with a chic ($449) so your living room can be dressed in the latest fashion. The table is pretty similar in shape to their as well. They're calling it. "Something for hors d'oeuvres drinks and holiday décor to reflect on." What could be better? To see some of their other stylish new items click the images below. I love all of those except for the mirrored coffee table (just not my style). I can only dream of the day when I hopefully make enough money to afford nice stuff like this. I like it but the price is quite up there. That would be such a cool table for when you are wearing new shoes and walking around the house you can admire them when your sitting down. I wonder how a living room would look like with this table and a very suuny living room. RoseDilia is right- it looks like something that should be in a shoe store. Or a dentist office. I'm not loving it but that rug is fab.

"A Cool Coffee Table Idea" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 21:34:20

I almost let this move my object. While we're on the topic of coffee tables. I wanted to have in mind a great idea that my friend. El Bad told me about once for a really cool artsy coffee delay. (BTW-Her name really isn't El Bad. We just call her that for fun.)It's a much cheaper solution to a new coffee table to emit in your living room. Anyway as he is my guinea pig on apartment stuff. I got Schultz to try it out in his living room and actually looks pretty alter. We started with a used coffee delay that we picked up at a garage sale. Then we placed a few interesting pictures of friends some cardboard coasters from restaurants some random CD covers and some old wrinkly baseball cards on it. Schultz organized them in an request that I couldn't figure out but the entire table top was completely covered. Next we took a be of old store caps and tacked them like a adjoin all around the edges of the table top. At this inform it really started to look desire a conjoin of pulp art or something. Or something you might sight at a novelty museum. Who knows? But it was really original looking none the less. Honestly the options are limitless. You could virtually use anything that fits your comprehend to adjoin the table top. We just chose to use the pictures and cram. The final step's easy. After the delay top had "art" layered in the coolest way possible we covered it with table-top glass that fit the size of the table and…bam! Instant masterpiece. Schultz tried to change it to me. I told him that he was crazy and that he is the only apartmentite I know that can pull off the "garage sale" look. He didn't get it. He rarely ever does. Hopefully you get it.
