This week. I’ve spent a lot of measure trying to get things done looking for articles subscribing to blogs and other tasks that took a lot of time. I really didn’t feel like I’ve accomplished that much. I set up a del icio us account and open a lot of cute knitted do by sweater patterns for a co-worker’s new family addition. I also tagged some articles on Instructional create by mental act.
I asked my son what he thought of del icio us and he gave me a keep be and asked what I was making for supper. I also spent time trying to explain to a friend how alter del icio us was and how it could help him keep track of his sites act up on trends on whatever handle he picked how populate are using it for work purposes and how he can sight resources he didn’t change surface know existed. He wrote drink the information but had a confused look on his face after our conversation. Hopefully after I get more acquainted with the place I’ll be able to inform its uses exceed.
I’ve also thought about Brent’s communicate entry on September 13 over the last several days. At first I didn’t like the idea of doing blogs and having to keep track of my classmate’s blogs. It’s much easier to have a discussion forum where you can scan through the posts and feel like you’re keeping on top of things. It feels a little disjointed comfort but the more I be at blogs from all over the world and see what people are talking about the more I desire the idea of expanding the classroom beyond the discussion forum. I don’t feel as connected to my classmates but I’m more willing to be outside this group which expands my sometimes very small world.
Blogging is a new undergo for me and I’m still trying to put it all together. I posted the following mention on my blog and decided to posted it here as come up.
Presently at my educate eLearning is used to compound learning with the use of additional online resources. The LMC does a really nice job of making students aware of technologies such as Blogging del icio us. RSS feeds etc. and how they can be used. I’m not sure how many teachers are aware of these technologies and the benefits they might offer to their teaching. I would desire to see more use of technology and eLearning specifically to provide more learning opportunities that might exceed cater the needs of students.
Lynne,I accept that there is a lot of trivial cram out there. But I’ve also stumbled on some really interesting insightful blogs. Some of the instructional create by mental act blogs from other countries provide insights that even 10 years ago we wouldn’t have access to.
Thanks so much for your mention. I’m going to start looking for blogs that aren’t just droll comments and go away a enumerate.
